Every1aBike

About this project
With a bicycle, school, work and care come within reach, especially in places where you would otherwise depend on a bus or taxi.
That is why Cultined founded Every1aBike in June 2017, Ieder1eenfiets in Dutch. In 2021 the collection campaign Marokko fietst (Morocco is cycling) brought in more than 500 donated bicycles. During the campaign one of the Dutch volunteers cycled 3,000 kilometres, from Groningen to Morocco.
From the collected bicycles, 164 complete, well-working and suitable bicycles were selected and transported to Morocco in 2021. They were meant for children, students, health care volunteers and small entrepreneurs.
In Morocco, Cultined works with Volunteer in Morocco and Abdelmalek Essaadi University in Tetouan and Martil. Since January 2024 there have also been bike tours on Sundays. In the same month an international team of 14 young people gave cycling lessons and organised bike tours in Martil and Tetouan.
The next goal is a bicycle centre where young people learn to repair and maintain bicycles.
